We have always been a fan of The Black Swan, as well as the rest of Lo & Behold's venues. Choosing The Black Swan for our Singapore wedding celebration was our first choice. We are partial to the 1920-30s style of the setting. We wanted a "party" vibe for the Sg reception, given that we have had our "proper" wedding in London. We also wanted to quickly transit to an After Party, so The Powder Room upstairs as an asset to the venue really. Everything went smoothly from the planning, tasting, setting up and actual evening. Carol and the entire team were excellent in every way. They were all very accommodating with all our requests and were so patient with us, sussing out the details, leading up to the event. Carol and team were also very invested in the event, judging from they way they gushing at wedding decor and favours. They've even cleverly used leftover decor from us, and adapted the styling upstairs at The Powder Room. There was great camaraderie among us all, lots of photos with the team too. Many guests gushed over the venue, and especially how the food was top notched. Typically, food for weddings tend to have a "catering" approach, but every morsel served was consistent with Black Swan's standard of great food quality, like on any other nights when the food was prepared individually for you! The service was excellent too. We particularly appreciated how the team communicated so well among themselves, something that was often overlooked at most wedding dinners. The bar staff were fun and generous at the After Party up at The Powder Room. Special thanks to Gerardo and team. We'll be back with our many other celebrations for sure. Our Sg reception was definitely a memorable one, and we have got photographic proof if you need them!
