Imagine a whimsical and enchanting spring wedding fair where attendees are transported to a world where serendipity weaves its spell, creating an atmosphere of delightful and unexpected discoveries at every turn…
With plenty of hard work and planning from the Hitcheed team, a collective of 60 over curated industry-leading vendor partners, and a burning desire to bring an incredible vision to life - Wedding Wondering May 2023 was born.
Held over the weekend of 13th and 14th of May, this captivating event took place at Suntec Convention Hall 403, from 12 pm to 8 pm, with more than an estimated attendance of 2000 couples, indulging in the dazzling array of unique wedding planning experiences.
Key Highlights
Throughout the weekend event, brides and grooms-to-be were spoilt for choice with two days packed with plenty of wedding inspiration, amazing food and drinks, a lively party ambience, and not to mention the endless giveaways and lucky draw prizes.
Early-bird visitors to the fair were treated to an array of delightful freebies, with long queues forming as couples eagerly redeemed the privileges listed on their privilege cards, adding to the excitement and buzz of the fair.
These included a selection of customizable flower bouquets at Flora and Fiona’s flower bar, delectable gelato from Celine's Gelato with flavors such as latte, watermelon sorbet, and durian, a DIY rose gold plated pen with Engraving by Eclarity SG and a scent bar by Parisine which allowed guests to indulge their senses in a variety of fragrances.
To further engage attendees, a pre-event and best photo contest was organized, offering a chance to win a stunning 1-carat diamond ring. Participants were encouraged to use the hashtag #hitcheedweddingwonderland and tag the Hitcheed Instagram page to stand a chance to win this coveted prize.
To further enhance the experience, couples making their first purchase were treated to a complimentary cup of their favourite coffee from Foreword Coffee Roasters. Those who shared their joy on social media platforms, such as Instagram, using the hashtag #hitcheedweddingwonderland and tagging the Hitcheed Instagram page, received special gifts like vow cards or ring holders.
Not forgetting the amazing effort by the Merry Bees’ live band, emcee, and DJ that contributed to the lively and festive ambiance throughout the event.
There was palpable excitement mounting in the atmosphere as attendees eagerly participated in the lucky draw throughout the day, drawn by tantalizing grand prizes such as $20,000 cashback and luxurious hotel staycations at Changi Cove Singapore, Raffles Marina, Village Hotel Changi, One Farrer Hotel, and Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel.
The weekend affair culminated in the celebratory atmosphere with the lucky group of cashback winners and recipients of luxurious hotel staycations, much to the delight of the participants! And for everyone else, a beautiful day of cherished memories, an abundance of inspiration, and a touch of serendipity to carry forward on their wedding journey.

As couples enter the wedding fair, they are welcomed by a breath-taking sight of a stunningly styled romantic, yet timeless phone booth set up by The Concepter – offering an irresistible photo opportunity, a moment of connection, to capture a moment of joy and anticipation to kick start the day’s event.
Moving past the entrance doors, one is immediately drawn towards an impressive white cascading screen adorned with floral motifs and fronted by 3 exquisite wedding gowns, elegantly showcased alongside the digital display of exciting videos to inspire and ignite their imagination of a dreamy and romantic wedding experience.
The familiar Suntec was transformed into a wonderland, where elegance and imagination intertwined seamlessly. Entering the venue, couples were greeted by a bustling atmosphere, with over 60 vendors, from photographers to florists, eagerly awaiting to assist and inspire them on their wedding journey.
The air was filled with the scent of fresh flowers, as the booths of the floral vendors showcased their artistic creations. Delicate floral decorations adorned the space, creating a captivating visual spectacle that evoked a sense of natural beauty and serendipitous charm.
As couples made their way through the halls of the venue, the sounds of music filled the air. A live band played melodic tunes, infusing the fair with a joyful and celebratory ambiance. The uplifting melodies resonated with the couples, lifting their moods, and adding an extra layer of excitement to the experience.
Walking along the halls, couples couldn't help but be inspired by the vibrant energy and creativity that surrounded them, fuelling their desire to explore beyond just a few vendors.
At each booth, every vendor meticulously curated their space to showcase their unique styles and offerings, a true treasure trove of expertise, with each vendor bringing their distinct flair - from personalized wedding planning tips to creative photography concepts and innovative wedding favours.
At every turn, the wedding fair buzzed with the energy of couples and vendors fully engrossed in conversations, exchanging visions, and exploring the possibilities for their dream wedding.
