On the weekend of the 13th and 14th of July, Hitcheed opened its doors to welcome over 4000 guests to it’s July Wedding Wonderland at the Suntec Convention Hall. With an array of unique, handpicked wedding vendors and a $20,000 cash back grand prize, it was Hitcheed’s most exciting expo to date.

The exposition was visited by a huge and eager crowd that created a buzzing atmosphere of newly engaged, soon-to-be hitched couples, and their supportive friends and excited family members - all there to be inspired and get a hopeful look in on one or more of Hitcheed’s unique promotions - from cash rebates, complimentary room nights and extra perks for your reception from Conrad Singapore Orchard, to a free Honeymoon trip to Bangkok or Ho Chi Minh when booking your wedding reception with Orchid Country Club, Hitcheed’s Wedding Wonderland really was the place to be.

With over fifty unique wedding vendors ranging from bridal studios, hotels, photographers, catering and more, it was no surprise that the event attracted a large crowd and accumulated a queue of loved up couples even before the doors opened. With make-up and hair demonstrations by Autelier Makeup, live music from the Merry Bees, decadent gowns and a Rolls Royce courtesy of Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore taking centre stage, there was no shortage of inspiration and fun over this jam packed weekend.

O’hara Weddings supplied and designed beautiful flower arrangements in purple, blue and white. The entrance, photo corner and even at our resting area, were adorned with exquisite flowers that allowed our guests to feel inspired and excited to design their own wedding. The guests also got to sample tasty treats from dessert and catering companies, a selection of delicious pastries and cakes that left our couples wanting more.

Queues had begin forming half an hour before the doors open on Sunday and the first five couples who made the first five transactions of the day walked away with their vacation getaway to renowned hotels such as Dusit Thani Laguna Singapore, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, Conrad Singapore Orchard, Rendezvous Hotel Singapore and Shangri-La’s Rasa Sentosa Resort & Spa. Given the variety of trusted and unique wedding vendors, it was not surprising that the early bird flash prizes were won within 10 minutes of the event opening!

Every purchase made during the show allows couples to have the opportunity to participate in the Grand Draw for $20,000 cashback, as well as a chance to win themselves a vacation getaway with the 20 hotel staycations. Massive crowds gather at the centrestage as they await for the Grand Draw to take place at 8pm each day. A total of $20,000 cash back was won by eight lucky couples who had made their purchase from vendors such as Manna Pot Catering, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport, The Gown Warehouse, ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove, among other vendors! Another 20 lucky couples also walked away with a hotel staycation for their purchases from mainly Grand Copthorne Waterfront, Genting Hotel Jurong, Queena Wedding and Malena Bridal.
