Enjoy a Glorious Wedding at Picnic Singapore

If you’re the kind of couple who loves the outdoors and the idea of is one that’s intertwined with nature, consider Picnic Urban Food Park as a potential wedding venue. The gorgeous space, filled with myriad greenery and scarlet blooms, provides the perfect garden setting for your wedding day, while your guests enjoy the event in air-conditioned comfort.

1) It’s got greenery, and aircon too.

Get the best of both worlds—lush tropical greenery and flowers in a landscape created by acclaimed florist Harijanto Setiawan—in an indoor setting so you don’t have to worry about inclement weather (or your guests overheating). We love the abundance of gorgeous colourful blossoms around the space, especially at the floral arch in the Picnic Floral Garden. These are complemented by hexagonal wooden stools, pine screens, brick walls, wooden pallets on the wall and concrete flooring, as well as the ceilings that mimic natural daylight.

2) Gorgeous setups mean you don’t have to spend a fortune on flowers.

With the plethora of florals arrayed around the venue, you can drastically reduce the amount you'd need to spend on flowers--instead, focus on dressing up the tables. We suggest getting smaller and low centerpieces along the table, interspersed with a few taller flower arrangements for more visual interest.

A more casual way to style the tables might include tea lights in lanterns or candle holders across the table, dressed up with stalks of flowers around them, and for added height, a couple of bouquets of flowers artfully arranged in small pitchers--the ever popular mason jar might be a great alternative too.

We recommend focusing more on your reception tables, showcasing treasured snippets of your journey as a couple. To match the aesthetic, you might want to choose bleached wood frames, together with a sprinkling of rose petals. Drape additional photos around the palm fronds or placed flat on the table.

3) It's a truly versatile space.

The 10,000 sq ft space comprises the Beer Garden, the Flower Garden and the Picnic Central Garden, perfect for a large group of your family and friends--you could even arrange the space in a way that divides your different social circles so they can mingle with the people they're most familiar with--for seating up to 350 guests. For such an arrangement, make your grand entrance via the floral arch, and make your way down the astro turf to the stage to commence your solemnisation.

For more intimate weddings, hold your solemnisation at the Flower Garden, with the central focus being the picturesque tree-like structure. Keep it simple and dress up the bride and groom's chairs with gorgeous tulle and wooden signs and adorn the aisle with additional florals.

4) A Full Day of Celebrations

After the solemnisation, guests can enjoy a glorious lunch or dinner set, complemented by three hours of free flow soft drinks and alcohol. If you're worried your guests will get peckish before lunch, you could also choose to add on canapés and more drinks (for smaller weddings--larger weddings get half hour of champagne and canapés). For smaller weddings, there's a minimum spending of up to S$8,500++ for lunches, and up to S$10,000++ for dinners--and up to S$30,000 to S$36,000++ for lunches and dinners during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday). The packages also include essentials like a guest book, a red packet picnic floral basket, Tiffany chairs with fresh floral mini bouquets, wireless microphones, projector and speakers.
