For better or for worse social media apps such as Instagram and Snapchat, have transformed the way we document and share major milestones, upping the game when it comes to planning our wedding. Step away from cookie-cutter ceremonies and continue reading for tips on how to make every element of your big day picture perfect.
The Solemnisation Set up
Today weddings are all about custom everything. Your solemnisation is the heart of your day and though you might have to tick certain boxes, legally and religiously, there are plenty of ways to make it photogenic and personal. With your decorations add some fun and colour with hanging elements of your choice.
Paper pom poms are a fun decoration to draw attention to your ceremony table and can be done in any colour of your choosing.

Alternatively you can hang floral wreaths for a more elegant touch, or bunting for nice compromise between traditional and fun.

An aisle is a great way to create a focal point but why leave it there? Really put your stamp on it by emphasising your runway with a calligraphy runner branded with your favourite quote, flower petals in your favourite colour, or line the way with grand flower structures, lanterns, terrariums or beautifully framed love quotes. Walking down the aisle is the most nerve-wracking part of the day, so you may as well make it memorable.

If a sit down ceremony isn’t for you, or you want to step up the luxe factor, why not incorporate an arch? It makes a great focal point and an ideal backdrop for the ultimate wedding selfie. Adorn a classic arch with stunning blooms, add a modern edge with a geometric style frame, or if you resonate with an aesthetic a little more boho, then why not add a macrame arch for that quintessential ethereal touch.

The Reception Table
With wedding couples tending to put most of their energy into finding the perfect venue and solemnization decor, there’s one element that can often get overlooked - the wedding reception table. As the space that holds your guest book, favours, and photographs it is the perfect opportunity to create a stunning table-scape.
Geometric shapes and metallic picture frames allow for a modern romantic feel, fill geometric shapes with wild flowers and use ornate picture frames to present favourite quotes or photographs of you and your loved one. Calligraphy can also be used - from aisle to reception - continue the theme with love notes at your reception table, a beautiful backdrop for yet another photo-op.

The Banquet Table
The ceremony may be over but the party's just getting started. Complement your delicious food with extravagant banquet table decor to really get your guests talking.
On the table think about using a creative runner to accentuate the length of your table, burlap cloth is a perfect rustic option but you can even use artificial grass, paired with loose leaves and delicate petals as an alternative.
