1) Grand Copthorne Waterfront

This hotel has a range of ballrooms that accommodate intimate groups of just 70, all the way up to 65 tables in a banquet-style setting, while the large glass wall floods the ballroom with natural light and a view of a manicured garden and gazebo. For smaller groups, the Waterfront Ballroom and the Riverfront Ballroom can seat 280 and 200 guests respectively.

Always wanted to get married beside the water? The Promenade, along Singapore River is the perfect choice for solemnisations, or an outdoor wedding. We love the Greco-inspired columns adorned with elegant white blooms.

2) Hotel Fort Canning

Though this hotel has an astounding number of venues--10 to be exact--we love the outdoor spaces from the garden venues at the Garden Terrace and the Tisettanta Terrace to the poolside areas at the Mineral Pool and Sun Deck. Those preferring to seek refuge in the indoors will love the lavish HFC Grand Marquee (one of the best outdoor solemnisation and reception venues in Singapore), as well as the Legends Ballroom and the Glass House.

The grandest and largest venue is the HFC Grand Marquee, which can seat up to 1,000 persons, and boasts gorgeous chandeliers and ornate candlesticks. The state-of-the-art lighting that's completely computerised also allows you to change its hues to perfectly complement your theme--and your mood. For a grand banquet setting, try the Legends Ballroom, which can seat up to 460 persons or the Glass House for more intimate weddings, with floor-to-ceiling glass windows for amazing views of the lush surrounds.

3) Novotel on Stevens

One of the newest hotels in Singapore, there are a wide range of venues for you to hold your wedding--be it an outdoor solemnisation, a grand banquet or a more intimate wedding. The largest venue, the Polaris Ballroom can seat up to 32 tables in a banquet-style setting with a 6m high ceiling. The Milky Way foyer outside the ballroom is a stylish space, with a stretch of glittering lights that give the space its name.

Guests wanting an outdoor wedding space can try the La Terrasse and Le Balcon, which are more intimate spaces perfect for solemnisations and cocktails. The courtyard, La Terrasse is lined with lush greenery of trees and plants and flowering vines climbing on trellises. The space will be dressed up with a floral arch flanked by chairs for the guests to watch the monumental moments--don't worry, air-conditioned function rooms are nearby.

Solemnisation packages start from S$68++ per person for high tea buffet, to S$988++ per person for a buffet dinner for a minimum of 40 persons. The banquet weekday Chinese dinner package costs S$1,088++ per table, and a weekend Chinese dinner package (on eve of and on public holidays), with a minimum of 25 tables of 10 persons.

4) ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove

If you've always wanted to get married by the sea, ONE°15 Marina could be the perfect venue for you to hold your special day. Hold your banquet in one--or all three--of the Constellation ballrooms, which can accommodate up to 360 guests or can be divided into smaller ballrooms should your party not be so large.

For your solemnisation, you could try either the Boaters' Bar and the Roof Terrace, both venues seating up to 100 guests. The Boaters' Bar is flanked by luxurious yachts for truly unique wedding photos, while the Roof Terrace has panoramic views of the marina, yachts and surrounding properties in Sentosa Cove.

Prices start at S$3,288++ for 30 guests for an international buffet lunch, with additional guests at S$98++ per person and S$3,588++ for 30 guests for an international buffet dinner, with S$108++ for additional guests. For weekday set menus, an 8-course Chinese set menu costs S$968++ per table, and a 4-course Western and international buffet menu at S$98++ per person.

For banquets on Friday and Sunday, with a minimum of 20 tables, an 8-course Chinese set menu will cost S$1,088++ per table, and S$118++ per person for a 5-course Western set menu and international buffet menu. If you're holding your banquet on Saturday, eve of or on a public holiday, the prices for the same menus will cost S$1,138++ per table and S$138++ per person respectively.

If you'd rather hold a wedding lunch, a 7-course Chinese set menu will cost S$928++ per table for 10 guests, and a 4-course Western set menu or an international buffet menu at S$98++ per person.

Otherwise, simply choose the 8-course Signature Package, a Chinese set menu at S$1,288++ per table for 10 guests.

5) Panamericana

Looking for a more casual venue to hold your wedding in a more relaxed atmosphere? Try Panamericana, the ultimate casual bar-grill concept where you guests can feast on the best of the diverse cultures and cuisines of the 14 countries along the Pan-American Highway. It provides the feel of a destination wedding without you needing to travel overseas, and the spacious venue (more than 7,000 sq ft) features a spacious indoor dining area with floor-to-ceiling windows, a long verandah and a lawn looking out to the sea.

We recommend having your solemnisation at sunset, out on The Lawn, which can accommodate 150 guests standing around the venue, or 120 seated guests. A glorious floral arch perfectly complements the surrounding greenery and is the perfect garden wedding venue.

Head inside for dinner and drinks, which can seat up to 165 guests at the bar and grill, and accommodate 400 standing guests. Choose between a cocktail reception or a grill menu, and wow your guests with their signature cocktails like a Panamericana Espresso Martini, a Grown up Fanta, and a Champagne Absinth Colada. Food-wise, the restaurant is the only one in Singapore that houses an Argentinian Asador, so feast on tender grilled meats, seafood, game and grains. Wedding package prices are upon request.

6) Raffles Marina

Another great wedding venue by the sea is Raffles Marina, and we love the idea of having your solemnisation on a yacht. Located just a short walk from the Tuas Link MRT station, there are a variety of venues from you to choose from: the Poolside, the Lawn or the yacht for your solemnisation, which can seat from 50 to 800 persons. Continue the party at the Poolside and the Lawn with cocktails, buffet or dinner (for the Lawn).

If you and your guests prefer an indoor venue, try the ballroom, which seats up to 400 for a wedding dinner. There's an adjoining atrium for your guests to hang around while enjoying cocktails before the dinner commences.

The solemnisation packages start from S$800++ per table for a Chinese 8-course set menu and $80++ per person (International or Indian Buffet), with a minimum of 30 guests.

The weekday (Monday to Thursday) lunch and dinner is priced at $750++ for a table of 10 persons or $75++ per person, while the weekend lunch is priced at S$800++ per table of S$80++ per person, and the weekend dinner at S$880++ for a table or S$88++ per person.
