Wedding Bloom Styling We Love!

Flowers are an essential element to your big day, they enhance your theme, give life to your colour palette and really make your wedding venue shine. Available in a vast array of styles and arrangements they are the perfect finishing touch no matter how big or small the wedding - whether it be an intimate garden party or a lavish ballroom soirée, you can use your blooms in an abundance of ways to really make your day pop.

1. Reception Table

The reception table is your chance to tell your love story through props and quotes and gorgeous keepsakes. Use flowers to tie in with your chosen theme, wild flowers and foliage like baby’s-breath, forget-me-nots, eucalyptus and cotton, pair seamlessly strewn amidst burlap and wood for a rustic theme, or use vases for more structure for a style that is more formal. The flowers will draw attention to your table leaving your guests with a clear impression of you as a couple.

2. Bridal Bouquet

There are some quirky ideas about the tradition of carrying a bouquet, from the practical properties of the flowers disguising the brides scent back in the 15th century, to the Victorian art of floriography were the bouquet was used to send a specific message. Whatever the reason, a beautiful bouquet is the cherry on top of your bridal cake and is the most immediately recognised wedding tradition, choose your blooms to enhance or contrast your colour palette for a show stopping look.

3. Table Centrepiece

The table centrepiece is your opportunity to create a seamless look as your guests go from ceremony to reception. Use the same flower types from your reception table to continue you theme in your dining area and depending on your theme you can go as big or as subtle as you like. A flower and foliage runner works great for an intimate ceremony, but you might want to go for bigger, more lavish arrangements in tall vases if you have a grander space to fill. Whatever you choose, this is where your guests will be sitting with plenty of time to check out your design so make sure to make it beautiful.

4. Aisle

The aisle is a pivotal space for the bride, being the last walk she does as a single woman. Make that space even more special and surround yourself in stunning arrangements to lead the way. Whether they be tall arrangements punctuating the space or more delicate bunches gently lining the aisle; tied to the end of pews or rows of chairs, flowers used in and along this space are a great way to create a focal point to the altar and make for stunning symmetrical imagery - and trust us, this walk is one you’ll never want to forget.

5. Bridal Car

A lot of attention generally goes into perfecting flowers for the bridal bouquet and venue with not much time going into how to jazz up the bridal car. The brides imminent arrival is greatly anticipated so don’t underestimate the impact of a beautifully arranged car.
Go as subtle or grand as you like, tying in with your theme pick the same flowers to highlight the handles and hood. Think of the colour and style of the car and pick flowers to contrast and enhance it to really make an impact.

6. Solemnisation Table

The solemnisation usually gets a lot of attention as it’s the focal point of your ceremony and the spot where you’ll become Mr & Mrs. Use flowers to decorate your chairs; as decorative wreaths or more subtle bunches, and highlight the table with a centrepiece. Pair your arrangements with ribbons or signage for the perfect finishing touch. Remember, your guests will arrive here long before the bride and groom with plenty of time to admire the beautiful blooms.

7. Floral Arch

You can use a floral arch in addition to your solemnisation setting or have it as a stand alone piece. What’s not to love about an archway strewn in flowers, they add a whimsical romance to your wedding, make a great backdrop for those all important portraits and are a beautiful way to define a space. Create cohesion by sticking with your theme, picking florals and foliage that tie in with the rest of your space. For added style choose to drape fabric or add signage to elevate your arch even more.
