It is truly a serendipitous experience how my fiance (then) and I first came to know about Little Island Brewing Co. (LIBC). Because we are both Christ followers, we would also like to believe God led us to LIBC through our wedding photographer Joel Lim, who suggested this place knowing our preference to have our wedding at a brewery.
LIBC then was still pretty new a start up and we decided to get in touch with Francis, the owner and manager of the establishment for a look see and to inquire more.
When we met Francis at LIBC, he was extremely hospitable, welcoming us to the place, offering us drinks and later on a taster platter of the menu that was going to be served at our wedding. Their service stood out, and there was a familiarity that clicked with us. Our first meeting exceeded our expectations compared to our previous vendor visits, and we knew this was it.
Later on, Joanne (Francis' wife), came on board and took over the coordinations and likewise, the professionalism was excellent and seen in the prompt response. They were very accommodating to our wants and needs from the decor to the set-up and even the food menu changes. They managed to work within our budget and recommended items that still tasted superb and priced reasonably.
Each time we came down to prepare the site or inspect it for the wedding decor, Joanne or Francis would make sure we were taken care of even though they weren't around. Their staff would bring us water to cool us down from the weather during the preparation and all. Even when we left some of our decor pieces with them due to the inconvenience of carrying it around, they would keep it securely for us.
On the wedding day, everything was perfect from the set-up to the decor, food, service and our family and guests till this day raved about the food and wedding experience they had citing that it's the best wedding they've ever attended. I'd never expected anyone to say that about weddings.
We couldn't have done it without Francis, Joanne and the LIBC team that made it happen. I'd recommend LIBC as a wedding venue if you want an out-of-traditional style wedding. The planning and coordination was so professional and the food is excellent.
LIBC has become our favourite and usual hang out for my husband and I, and our friends pre- and post- wedding, and it's a privilege to have Franics and Joanne become our friends as well.

We have known of Little Island Brewery Co (LIBC) since its inception. The very day we got engaged, we knew that we had to have our wedding at LIBC.
We reached out directly to Francis and Joanne, who listened to our wishlist (from budget to decor to menu to demands for a dance floor) and made every single one of them happen. Ok, so they didn't personally string up fairy lights and strew flowers on the tables, but they let our decor team work their magic. Joanne, who has impeccable taste, helped out as well.
Working with Francis and Joanne was great fun and absolutely fuss-free. No hotel ballroom wedding nightmare of minimum spend and overpriced, low-quality menus. They've also built up a small arsenal of experience in hosting wedding parties and work through details you never thought of. They were also flexible and considerate of our needs when it came to pricing, which meant we had a great time without having to burn our life savings.
Most important of all, Francis and Joanne take deep pride in throwing a great party. The wedding party was magical, LIBC in-house band was great, food and beer were excellent, and many of our guests told us they had the best time.
Unfortunately we will probably never have another wedding - but if we did, we'd have it at LIBC all over again.
