The exposed brick entrance into Gallery I is possibly the oldest feature of the Old Parliament House. These walls were treated with stucco or Madra Chunam plaster made from shell lime, egg white, coarse sugar and water soaked with coconut husks for 24 hours. The surfaces still endure to this day, and are so hard that nails cannot be knocked through.
This unique space is best used for exhibitions and cocktails.SAVE TO WISHLIST

We were so happy to have chosen The Arts House for our wedding solemnization event. Lucas, the venue manager was very helpful and saved us alot of time and trouble by allowing us to do our setup and move our items in place a day earlier. This made our logistics easier and give us lesser worries on the event day. One thing that really impressed me was when he offered us to use the adjourning room since it was unused for our lunch buffet setup, which we didn't book for at all. This greatly improved our overall wedding experience as we had our concerns on doing the lunch buffet along the corridor due to its size limitations and the lack of seats setup. Furthermore, we were able to use it as a reception/gathering area for our guests. I will definitely recommend this venue to others. Apart from it being a beautiful venue, a great venue manager will definitely ease the event planning process and help everyone achieve a successful event too.
The Arts House staff and support crew were nothing short of welcoming and very helpful. Lucas, the manager, was always there to answer any queries we had and helped us make our wedding a very special day. Not forgetting the support staff who helped us with the set up and storing of equipment. The location was rustic with a touch of grandeur, enabling us to have our dream wedding. Thank you Lucas and team!
