My wife and I engaged Teck Kuan’s videography services because we were very impressed with his works. The meet up with Teck Kuan was casual and easy-going, with no hard selling involved. He also gave us a lot of advice (since he was well-experienced) in wedding videography.
On the actual day, Teck Kuan and his assistant videographer were very professional and both arrived early to set up. In that sense, my wife and I did not have to worry about the arrangements for videographers.During the wedding ceremony, Teck Kuan and his assistant took initiative to highlight potential problems which may occur and gave reminders.
After the wedding, Teck Kuan and his team were still very responsive. The finished work came in an exquisite box that's fitting as a keepsake.

When we are doing our wedding preparation, we have heard so many horror stories from our friends about their photographers and videographers; how they often leave early without informing anyone, and how they ordered expensive meals from the hotel and charged to the unknowing couple.
So when we first engaged Teck Kuan and Deryck through Blackcurrant Studio, we didn't quite know what to expect. After all, this is our first time planning for a wedding and working with them! So when we saw how invested Teck Kuan and Deryck were in coming out the video highlight, we were both delighted and touched. My wife and I engaged Teck Kuan for our 2-day wedding in December 2016. Having seen several of his wedding videos prior to engaging him formally, we sub-consciously set very high expectations of our wedding video - and Teck Kuan still EXCEEDED it! Many of my guests were so impressed with it that it has been part of the conversation in the weeks after my wedding.
In our interactions with him, we were able to feel his genuine passion and dedication to his work. Throughout our engagements, he not only gave us his honest opinion and advice that were in the best of our interests, but he also went the extra mile and offered help in other areas of the wedding. Teck Kuan felt more like a friend than a service provider, and this makes it really really easy to work with him.

2) He was flexible in terms of timing and could do filming for 3-4 hours in the morning, and charged accordingly. A lot of other videographers could only do a whole day filming and their schedules were rather fixed.
3) He was very professional yet friendly. Generally a very approachable person and willing to fine tune things according to our preferences.
4) He had two other colleagues with him who also helped to film other parts of our church wedding, so when pieced together, the short film turned out very interesting. He manged to capture the important expressions of myself and the groom, which really helped put a personal touch to the video. We also didn't know the song he chose for the film and were quite uncomfortable at first, but when we saw the film paired together with the song, we were convinced.

Teck kuan was the videographer for my wedding day. I saw his other works and was interested to engage his service. During the meet-up, my hub & I felt that he was very nice, friendly and was also open to work with photographer outside his company. I was initially worried that photographer & videographer from 2 different companies could not work together as everyone was telling me to best engage from a single source. Im glad I went on with my decision.
Teck Kuan was professional, patient & creative, providing ideas, ensuring the video/each scene was well taken, re-filming the NG dance sessions of the groom & brothers. He did not rush to end the videoing though we overrun.
The end product turned out very well, nice packaging & most importantly everyone enjoyed the clip during the banquet & had a great laugh.

Teck Kuan was our videographer for our church wedding ceremony and our banquet dinner. It was a 2 day event.
Since our first meeting to brief him of our wedding details, he has portrayed professionalism, patience and knowledge in his work. He provided us examples and his past work to give us an idea of how it will be run.
When our big day finally arrived, he was punctual and started right at work to film us at our candid and best moments. We were very assured knowing we are left in good hands to deliver his work on our happiest day of our lives. The team helped to craft our wedding montage based on our travel themed wedding. We love the effects of the montage. They were opened to our suggestions and were very patient with us during the whole process.

I stumbled upon Next Chapter Film while surfing on SG Brides as well as Vimeo and noticed the style of video is very close to what I intended for my wedding. I also research on Teck Kuan's profile and his previous productions on weddings. My husband and I liked it very much and we decided to ask for a quotation. Price wise, his charges are very reasonable and most importantly, he takes time to understand what we really want. In terms of the theme, the feel of the video, the effects, mood and overall presentation of our wedding montage was executed superbly well. It's been a year since we have been married and once in a while we still review the actual day video, morning highlights as well as the edited long version of the wedding day (which includes the wedding highlights as well as the evening ceremony). Teck Kuan also had a high sense of professionalism and that is what we particularly like about the entire collaboration. He puts effort into the smallest details and also tries his best to deliver to the best of his ability. The customization of the photo and video album is something very creative as well. He asked us to choose 4-6 of our favorite photos throughout the wedding so he could use the pictures as the cover photo of the DVDs prepared for us. Overall, it was a pleasant and wonderful experience working with Next Chapter Film.

Tan Teck Kuan who is the founder/director of this firm took charge of all my pre-wedding, proposal and actual day video. The next chapter was selected due to its competitive pricing and passion to deliver a story. I had many requests and ideas on the final product and Teck Kuan would share his perspectives on how it could be filmed. There were some scenes which he felt that it could be done better and he explained to us the rationale and if we would like a reshoot at no extra cost. This guy is someone who has passion in his work to deliver a good piece for the couple. For good value and someone with experience in this field, he can be a good option to consider.

We contacted Teck Kuan just a couple of weeks before our wedding, despite limited time for preparation, he was able to professionally liaise with us and help us with the video on the actual day. Ours was a wedding lunch, hence it was quite a mad rush for the videographers to come out with the "same day edits" given the short amount of time - some videographers we approached prior to engaging this company refused to do same day edits for lunch banquets. We were lucky that Teck Kuan was able to put together the morning gate crash activities, tea ceremony and parts of the banquet into a 5 mins same day edit for us to play at the 2nd part of the banquet despite the time limitation. Not only that he did a wonderful job and our guests were thoroughly impressed too! I'd highly recommend the next chapter film to any wedding couples for a stress-free and wonderful experience!
