Nestled atop the forested Labrador Nature Reserve, the restaurant is perfectly reminiscent of the original Tamarind Hill Kuala Lumpur, preserving the milieu of being in a stand-alone historic colonial bungalow amid a vastly green surrounding. An ambiance redefined by Tamarind's unmistakeable rustic-luxe Asian character and flair, the restaurant serves traditional and contemporary Siamese cuisine within this elegant venue just minutes away from the city. A retreat by day, a holiday by night.

We came across Tamarind Hill through an online search of non-conventional banquet venues. We fell in love with the ambience of the place, and enjoyed the food served on our first visit, and subsequently signed up with Tamarind Hill at their wedding showcase. Thereafter, we sent many emails to our sales person seeking information on the venue (such as seating capacity, AV system requirements, floral decor, door gifts). While our sales person was prompt in answering our questions over email, we felt that the service could have been rendered in a more pro-active manner. It would have been a lot more helpful if Tamarind Hill could provide us with these basic information regarding the wedding venue more pro-actively (rather than on an if-asked basis) to facilitate the planning process for couples. On the actual day, the staff on the ground were helpful, although the sound system was less than satisfactory. Guests seated furthest away from the stage commented that they could not hear the sound from the speakers.
